What is the COST of OSCAR Therapy compared to the cost of a regular therapist?

Cost questions aside, most therapists have very little or no training or expertise in phobia reversal. So these two kinds of therapists are hard to compare.

"Operant conditioning" therapies like OSCAR Therapy means that the sessions are driven by the learner, and facilitated by the OSCAR Therapist.

Do you take health insurance?

Unfortunately, we cannot.

However, we may consider barter relationships for social media and video editing skills.

Am I too far gone to help ?

Here is a good gauge... If there is any situation at all, even at rest or leisure, where you act very predictably, you are a good candidate for this learning process. Mild neural and even sizable physical limitations do not detract from progress in any way. The OSCAR process is even perfectly suited for teaching brains to adapt to disabilities or physical impairments.

Medical issues must always be addressed with your doctor, prior to initiating OSCAR Therapy.

How long does the process take?

Every person's brain has its own unique needs. Also, every person has their own unique set of personal goals they want to reach! OSCAR Therapy is NOT a "one size fits all" program. If you make time for OSCAR Therapy to help you, it will. Session frequency, homework, and reporting in are all suggested and encouraged but not required.

Where is the OSCAR work done?

This answer varies, depending on the kind of phobia, fear, or anxiety you have.

Medical phobias can be done on a video interface platform, wherever the medical equipment resides. MANY medical scenarios can be simulated at home with home equipment you might even be able to borrow from your doctor for this purpose.

Animal phobias are always managed on-site by Casey Sugarman or a designated proxy, as the mandatory animal handler. Locations for this work will vary depending on the species involved.

Aquaphobias are addressed at Nutmeg Aquatics: East Lyme, Connecticut.  If you have a willing certified lifeguard participant available to help you, this work can be done over Zoom, or other video interface platform.

How is OSCAR Therapy different?

OSCAR Therapy is similar to EMDR, Feldenkrais, and Alexander Technique. But it is quicker, more direct, and more complete in the reversal of phobias, specifically. OSCAR Therapy was developed to reverse the phobias that animals have, themselves. Until OSCAR Therapy, an animal's phobia was largely considered to be irreversible. We have proven otherwise. But since humans ARE a species of animal, OSCAR therapy works for us humans too.

We think OSCAR Therapy gets you to the most complete reversal of phobia in ANY species.

Is there a set OSCAR "program" ?

No. All casework is fully customized to triage and reverse your problem areas.  We teach only one person at a time, in private session.

Will your methods interfere with my other therapists?

No, OSCAR Therapy does not interfere with other kinds of therapy, however, it does PROMOTE and help other kinds of therapy processes. It is always a good idea to help all of the therapists on your team talk to one another, just so that everyone is on the same page, with no unexpected surprises.

What if I need to pause the OSCAR process?

Since WR uses only positive methods, it is almost always safe to terminate treatment midstream.  Midstream termination or postponement of treatment will have NO harmful affect.  You are free to terminate treatment at any time.

Are you an Energy Healer or Psychic?

No, not at all. OSCAR Therapy applies only learning analysis and motivation analysis methods.  OSCAR Therapy does NOT utilize Energy Field, Healing Touch, Mapping, or other physical contact methodologies.  OSCAR Therapy does NOT utilize Medium, Psychic, Communicator, Telepathy, or any Spiritual methodologies.
